Meaning!

So there's a dank dank dank show happening on Friday. This band called The Physics of Meaning will make you happy, I can guarantee that few of you have seen a musical performance this good. It will be pretty, rockin', and violintastic. It's happening at Pehrspace.

Physics is from Chapel Hill, and is composed of very kind people. The leader, Daniel Hart, plays violin with St. Vincent, John Vanderslice, and was an original member of the Polyphonic Spree.

I'm not sure if it will cost money, but come either way, I promise you won't regret it.

Lovin,
Caseywise

Mini Golf

Madeline and I went to play mini golf last night at the Sherman Oaks Castle Park last night.

Highly recommended for those with a sense of humor about their game.

Thirsty Thursdays

On Thursdays, we peeps usually try to go to a bar and drown our sorrows and/or happiness and talk to each other in a hanging out fashion. This is called Thirsty Thursdays, and should not be confused with gay Thursdays. Can they coexist? A unisexual Thursday night practice? I say, let's do it.

Monday/Wednesday night free showness

Yo dudes, in LA, residencies happen at music clubs. That's when a band plays one night of the week all that month, and the show is cheap or free.

Silverlake Lounge does a free show on Monday night, Tangier does a $5 show Monday and a free show Wednesday.

If anyone wants to go to these places to see good local music and enjoy spirits with me, I would be blissful.

Lovin'
Casey

Places to Go

Hey,
I just wanted to share with everyone a few things coming up in September and early October.
I started a blog earlier this summer, and hope to add more to it- each entry is a place in or around LA, many of them outdoors. I intend to add the pricing and directions on more museums, restaurants, bars, etc- and a calendar- for anyone living here or friends visiting.
